Children are the world’s most precious asset, and investing in them is essential for sustainable development. YenMa Foundation, which means ‘Our Children Foundation’ in Twi, was established to break the barriers that prevent children from accessing education, healthcare, proper nutrition, and opportunities for development, through collaborative efforts between the foundation and partners like you. Founded in December 2018, the foundation focuses on advancing five of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals: quality education, good health and well-being, zero hunger, no poverty, and strong partnerships.

Why YenMa
Y3n mma means our children in a Ghanaian language called Twi. YenMa because, we urge everyone to see every child as their own and not treat them any different from their biological children. Children are a vulnerable population who need protection, nurturing and care to become responsible adults. A way to ensure proper development is if we all come together as a team, see them as our own and put in efforts to eliminate barriers to a bright future and build our future leaders.
