Our work
Since 2018, our work has supported key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, and No Poverty through meals, health support, scholarships, and family empowerment initiatives in Ghana.
Currently, our main focus is increasing primary school enrollment as the number of out-of-school children continues to rise. We believe education is the key to lasting and well educated children are the foundation of every community.

YENMA CAMPAIGNS
YenMa Enrollment and Scholarship Program: The number of children out of school has reached 250 million globally, with Africa accounting for nearly 30%. YenMa Foundation is committed to reversing this trend by expanding access to education and increasing school enrollment.
A gift of $125 enrolls a child in school, covering registration fees, school uniforms, and essential supplies to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn. We also provide scholarships to support students throughout their education.
Donors contributing $125 or more receive an exclusive YenMa Foundation commemorative pen as a symbol of their impact.

YenMa Thrive Initiative: This is a mentorship program for YenMa Foundation children and mentors designed to build self-confidence and help children recognize the value of their education. The program helps children maximize their strengths, address areas for growth, and build a strong foundation for future career development.

YenMa homework buddies: This campaign pairs upper-grade students with lower-grade students to support them with their homework. This initiative is designed to build leadership skills, encourage responsibility, collaboration and empower students to take initiative by supporting one another.

YenMa Baby packages: The foundation donates curated labor bags with newborn supplies to hospitals, including diapers, feeding bottles, detergents, antiseptic wash, baby toys, optional formula, baby wipes, and other essential care items.

YenMa Feeding Program: YenMa Foundation partners with children’s homes and orphanages to provide meals and fight hunger among children living in poverty. You can support this mission by nominating a children’s home to be included in our outreach.

YenMa Christmas packages: We celebrate the joy of Christmas by preparing gift packages for children in both rural and urban communities. These packages include clothing, snacks, and customized gifts for children.

YenMa Family Oral Kits: A personal hygiene initiative promoting healthier smiles through improved oral health. Each kit includes toothbrushes and toothpaste for the entire family, encouraging parental involvement and supporting long-term, sustainable hygiene practices.
